Karen Buell, VP Operations at Payveris
Karen oversees Payveris’ operations, including payment operations, client support, and compliance functions.
Before coming to Payveris, she was VP of Emerging Customer Technologies at PeoplesBank, where she created and managed the Customer Innovation Lab. A seasoned business technology professional and project manager, Karen has led multiple system conversions and new implementations from the client side and has brought that experience to the FinTech space.
An MBA graduate from the University of Massachusetts – Isenberg School of Management, Karen completed PeoplesBank’s Management Development Program; Ritz Carlton’s Gold Standards for Legendary Service and Sustainable Success; worked with global advisory firm, Forrester Research, to create a custom mobile strategy; and was named to BusinessWest’s “Forty Under 40,” all before 30.
Karen serves on the board of directors for the Connecticut Technology Council and promotes STEM to Girl’s, Inc. all in addition to being a busy wife and mother of their two children. Karen’s note: “The juggle is real. :-)”
