Join the UP team and our extended community of Mentors and Clients as part of Women Build for Habitat for Humanity! We will team up to build a single-family home in Bristol, CT! Help make the dream of homeownership a reality for families living in need.
Only 31 of Connecticut's 169 towns have at least 10% affordable housing. Take a concrete step toward improving that number! Build YOUR confidence while you are building
a family UP! There is no experience necessary, Hartford's Habitat for Humanity Team will take us through what we need to do.
All CDC guidelines for social distancing are being followed on the build. You'll be safe AND contributing to building a sustainable community of opportunity for all. Moms note: 82% of homeowners' children graduate high school! That's a stat we can all support!
For stay-at-home Moms eager to return-to-work, participating in Women Build is a terrific confidence builder! It offers a great way to interact with peers, mentors and clients to do 'purposeful work' in one single day. You'll walk away from the day with a tremendous sense of accomplishment.

Location: Live Event to take place at Build Location in Bristol, CT
Time: 7:45am on site arrival time (must be punctual for safety training!) Build ends typically by 3-3:30pm.
Although it is NOT required, UP will be making a donation to Hartford Habitat to support our efforts. You can support our efforts by letting friends and family know you are participating, or by simply donating to Women Build 2020 via our team donation page!
