UP's May 20th Mentor Mingle includes Erin Lydon who leads Poker Powher, a PEAK6 company, with the mission to teach one million women how to flip the table and play the game. Learning and practicing poker translates to increased confidence, improved strategic thinking, risk assessment and capital allocation skills— critical tools to help women succeed from the classroom to the board room.
Prior to running Poker Powher, Erin was the Strategic Advisor to the management team at Evil Geniuses, a legendary esports organization which competes in Dota 2, Counterstrike: Global Offensive, Valorant and League of Legends.
Erin received her MBA in Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and her BA in English from Bates College.
